Petry Kuhne performs a variety of services as Construction Manager, and acts as a coordinator to ensure that all scheduled activities and procurement of materials are being completed in a timely manner.
For each project we manage, Petry Kuhne engages in a “team” approach with the owner and the architect to encourage constant communication and collaboration between all parties involved.

Pre-Construction
Petry Kuhne Company’s Pre-Construction services are focused to provide the owner and the project team with a well-planned design and estimating program supported with accurate data and thoughtful decisions.
Our approach to scheduling and phasing is critical to the success of a project and is developed early in the design process. We work together with the architect and owner to provide a schedule that is both realistic and aspires to accelerate the completion date. Cost estimates are key to keeping the project on budget.
From schematic design through construction document phases, estimates are constantly updated and are evaluated to ensure accurate accounting of all costs. Cost savings measures are employed as needed to ensure the best value for the owner. During Pre-Construction, we work continually with the project team to identify ‘constructibility’ issues, lead-time issues, subcontractor selection, and material/equipment selections. Proper planning during Pre-Construction is essential to the overall health and success of the project.

As experienced installers of site and concrete flatwork, as well as structural concrete, our concrete team not only services Petry Kuhne projects, but also works successfully as a subcontractor to other GC’s, mechanical firms, electrical firms, and directly with owners and utility companies.

Our steel erection team (Central Illinois Erectors) is the leading steel erection company in Central Illinois and has been for many decades.
Our erectors are knowledgeable craftsman, who are leaders in the industry. We have a team approach in working with clients, structural engineers, architects, and contractors, planning each project with a ‘fresh set of eyes’ using the most efficient sequencing to ensure timely delivery.
Our team includes industry veterans with 30+ years’ experience. This wealth of knowledge allows us to navigate the most difficult and complex steel erection projects.
Safety is embedded in our culture, having not only office staff but also field supervisors who are OSHA trained, refusing to put production over safety.

Steel Erection
Petry Kuhne Company subsidiary Central Illinois Erectors provides full Steel Erection services for any steel structure, from high-rises single story structures, pre-engineered metal buildings, erection of towers, and precast concrete panels.
Demolition
Petry Kuhne Company provides demolition services including interiors demo and disposal, small structures demolition, and works with specialized subcontractors for large scale demolition.
Post-Construction
Petry Kuhne remains committed to the client beyond the date of project completion. We provide full project closeout services utilizing the latest technology to provide detailed closeout documents, photo documentation, punchlist management, and building commissioning.
We maintain regular contact with subcontracting partners after project completion to ensure timely follow-up on any building warranty issues.
