School of Labor and Employment Relations (LER)
Designed by architect Cordogan Clark and Associates, this new building addition and renovation consists of tiered classrooms, active learning space, and new terrace and plaza outdoor gathering space. As the first addition to the building since the 1960's, the project truly transformed the building, enhancing students' ability to prepare for the corporate world now and into the future. 2019 completion!

Carle at the Fields
Petry-Kuhne was selected to complete various packages on multiple buildings at 'Carle at the Fields' development including Carpentry, Steel Erection, and Misc. Orthopedic Sports Medicine Building
This 62,000 s.f. new facility houses both orthopedics and sports medicine. It
provides one convenient location for diagnosis, treatment, training and rehab. The space includes a
40-yard dash track, office and exam rooms as well as a therapy gym with sports enhancement training to
accommodate patients with mobility challenges as they prepare for or recover from treatment.
PK teamed up with Joint Venture partner Pepper Construction
in completing this project.

Busey Bank at The Pines
Schedule was critical for this facility which provides a convenient location at the Southeast edge of Urbana. The project was delivered on time during extreme moisture conditions, this project featured: masonry / EIFS exterior, white TPO roof, and top quality interior finishes including: curved soffits, ornate millwork, and wood ceilings.
Petry Kuhne worked closely with our client to coordinate: ATM installs, Ptube system install, Safe Storage install, and other owner furnishings/equipment which are critical to the daily operation of this banking location.

Reynolds Development, LLC - Office Building
PK constructed this 3-story facility, with a basement level, 96,400 square foot multi-use building shell, and associated sitework. Work covered under this project scope included: site utilities, asphalt paving, masonry, roofing, aluminum windows and storefront, glass & glazing, finishes, security equipment, conveying devices, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
As the project GC, PK coordinated all aspects and phases of construction, finishing the project on schedule, and within budget.

Harker Hall
Harker Hall is the oldest building on University of Illinois Campus at 135 years old and is listed on the national registry for historic buildings. While keeping the exterior 3 story structure intact, Petry-Kuhne demolished all 3 interior floor structures and built back 4 stories with a new roof. This project was a remarkable accomplishment in providing modern features while maintaining the original architecture of this amazing historic building.

One Main Plaza Building
This 117,000 sq. ft., five-story, brick multi-use complex featuring condominiums, offices, and retail space is an anchor to Champaign’s downtown. As you drive throughout Central Illinois and observe the building landscape, you will notice many facilities such as this - constructed by Petry-Kuhne over nearly a century of time . As we do this, we are reminded how each project included many hours of labor by skilled craftsmen. Many of these structures will last for a century or more. We consider it a great privilege to be part of this history.

Corporate Park Center
Petry-Kuhne completed 'build to suit' construction on this 'design-assist' project comprised of 42,000 sq. ft. This office complex features tilt-up wall system, latest technology for high-tech firms, and beautiful landscapes featuring a lake and fountain.
Illini Media
Petry-Kuhne provided full GC and Pre-construction services for this 30,000 sq ft., 4-story, state-of-the–art, mixed use media facility on the University of Illinois campus. Challenges included a 'shoe horn' site, heavy traffic along adjacent Green St., and tight construction schedule. Having a great working relationship with the owner and local trade partners made this project a success, with the result being on-time delivery and under the original budget.
