Petry-Kuhne constructed this new playground which features a toddler play area (ages 2-5), as well as an area designed for children ages 5-12 years. Play features include multiple slides, climbing structures, a 3-story tower, prism sun catchers, accessible merry-go-round, and Expression swings – a dual swing designed for parent and toddler. The playground surface is poured in place synthetic surface rather than mulch, improving accessibility. A storm water drainage system was installed underneath the playground surface. Petry-Kuhne completed the project 2 months ahead of schedule allowing the new playground to open to the public much sooner than anticipated.
