This new soccer and track complex for the University of Illinois located at the new Demirjian Park will be the first of its kind on UIUC campus providing a home for both the soccer and track programs. The new $13.4M, 21,300 square foot facility will provide locker rooms and team facilities for women's soccer and men's and women's track; official's locker rooms, bleachers for viewing both track and soccer events; and public concessions and restroom facilities. The pre-engineered aluminum bleacher seating extends from the building in each direction to provide 700 permanent seats for each venue. An open-air patio allows fans to access both the track and soccer venues from the concourse level. The facility contains spaces for: recruiting, memorabilia, lounge, nutrition center, team meeting area, hospitality, training, medical, and more... The concourse features glass from floor to ceiling to allow occupants to overlook each venue with unobstructed views. A third-level press box provides broadcast and media space for both track and soccer events.
